Nordic EMBL Partnership meeting 2026

The Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine is a major strategic player in Europe´s efforts towards understanding molecular mechanisms of disease, thanks to its complementary research expertise, outstanding research infrastructures, and industry collaborations. 

The 14th annual Nordic EMBL Partnership Meeting is hosted by the Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS) in September 2026 in Umeå. This meeting will gather group leaders, postdocs, senior researchers, students, technology experts and coordinators from all the four nodes of the Nordic EMBL Partnership and representatives from EMBL to Umeå for a four-day scientific conference. This year, we are delighted to also welcome the VU-LSC EMBL Partnership for Genome Editing Technologies from Vilnius, Lithuania. The program features a dedicated Young Investigator Meeting (YIM), a Group Leader Satellite Workshop, and the Main Meeting, as well as poster sessions.

The Nordic EMBL Partnership meeting will be held in Umeå, Sweden, from 7-10 September 2026 at P5/Vävenscenen.
